Founder of MTCS Inc. A self-taught tactician who turned years of hands-on trade training into one multi-trade service system.
Matthew Winston Kenlock, known as MattLock, did not wait for one school or one title to define him. He learned each trade by doing it, then backed it up with vocational training and certifications.
His resume carries one title that says it best: Autodidactic Tactician. It means a self-directed learner who studies a problem, trains for it, and applies it on real jobs. In 2007 he put that approach to work and started Multi-Trade Customized Services, also known as S.W.A.T.: Services Within Alternative Trades.
Before that, he was already on job sites. He worked shoring and scaffolding crews, trained as a junior plumbing mechanic, and moved up to senior plumbing work. He also worked as a building porter and maintenance worker, earned H.P.D. building maintenance credentials, and kept building his own skills in graphics, video, music production, apparel, and auto mechanics.
That mix is the point. Where most companies send you to a different contractor for every need, MattLock built one system where the trades work together, so a homeowner calls one crew for the whole property.
Delivery contractor, building porter, and shoring contractor. He set steel support beams, built scaffolds, and ran a forklift on city job sites.
He founded Multi-Trade Customized Services as a sole proprietorship (S.W.A.T.), offering home improvement, graphics, apparel, and general maintenance.
Four months of hands-on junior plumbing training, then work with Philco Plumbing and Mattis Repairs: fixtures, water distribution, drainage, siding, windows, and more.
H.P.D. building maintenance credentials and residential building experience, which taught him to run and care for a whole property.
Hospital security at Allied Universal, with 24 core training certifications covering first aid, CPR and AED, safety, conflict management, and report writing.
Every service on this site, from pressure washing and landscaping to topiary sculpting and home audio and visual, grows from the same method: learn it, train it, prove it on the job.
